Oil painting in wooden frame
HD Apeiron/42 has a focus depth of +/- 10 mm. In cases like this where the frame is 30 mm above the actual canvas, you need to scan multiple times with different heights to ensure that both the frame and the canvas are in absolute focus. This was scanned three times with focus on the canvas, the top of the frame, and the middle part of the frame. The three files were then merged in Photoshop.
