Scanner Spares Termination List

NOTE: 64-bit compatibility with this software – only with scanners XD, SD-series, HD-series, FLEX50i, G-series (including G600, G25, G18, G36).

Spare Parts Availability

Contex is committed to supply spare parts for a minimum of 5 years after announcing of
termination of a product. Spare part lists are available in the “Service Guides” section.

Here is a list of scanner models and dates for each model’s spare parts warranty termination.

Order Spare Parts

• You can order spare parts through your sales manager or by emailing your request to order@contex.com. Be sure to include the part number with our order.
• For prices, please refer to your copy of the Distributor Price List you received from your sales manager.
• To identify spare parts, see the spare parts lists in the Service Guide Section.

Returning spare parts for credit
In order to return parts for full credit you are required to first fill out a request for RMA. Once this is approved a RMA number will be emailed to you. When you ship the part to the factory print and include the email for our reference. Also make sure the number is clearly written on the box. RMA form requires simply:

• Scanner Serial Number
• Part Number
• Problem Description

Full Credit for parts for scanners under warranty.
Spare parts can be return for full credit when replacing parts in scanners covered by factory or extended warranties. To return spare parts for full credit fill out a Return Material Authorization (RMA) on the Contex partner site here. The RMA forms may be found in the Restricted Site, or using this link RMA Request Form.

How to return spare parts 
When the RMA request is received you will get an email confirmation that the process has been started. Then our team will evaluate your request and if approved you will receive a new email notifying you that you need to send us the part (if specified in the email) for us to issue a Credit Note for it.

 
IMPORTANT NOTE 1:

• No order for any replacement part is generated in this RMA process. If you want a replacement part you need to order it using our standard order procedure.

IMPORTANT NOTE 2:

• No credit note will be issued until the part has been received at the destination in our ‘RMA approved’ email.

IMPORTANT NOTE 3:

• Notice that the shipping address for the part is specified in the email that you receive after your RMA has been approved. Shipping the part to a different address than the one specified in that email will incur in a penalty associated to the re-shipping of the part to the specified location.
